It may be harder, especially if you are trying to rent through a rental agency, as they routinely run credit checks. Do your best to keep a good relationship with your current landlord and ask for letters of referral if you move. You will probably have better luck renting from individual landlords who are not using a property management firm or deriving most of their income through rentals, as they are less likely to run a credit check.
